    Lightnin’ has spent the first part of 2012 writing, woodshedding and working the local podcast / internet radio circuit to promote the new EP D.T.L.A.M.F.  (blog coming soon).   Lightnin’ did the MorMusic Radio Pod, a spiffy podcast by the nice young men from The Mormons, who were more interested in talking to Lightnin’ about pussy than hearing about the new EP.  They played a couple of numbers, and Lightnin’ performed 2 songs live, including attempting a brand new one… you can download this show free from iTunes,  Mormusic Radio Pod ep #32 or go to http://www.skidrow.la/?p=2051

    Rebel Music TV featured Lightnin’ this past Sunday and let me talk all about the EP, which was recorded at Downtown Sound Studio (the same location where RMTV is taped).  They played a couple of tracks and interviewed us, and Lightnin’ and Lil Donkey were thrilled to meet surprise special guest porn legend Max Hardcore!

    Then finally Lightnin’ sat in with Mike V and Cinx over at In The Basement on Stench Radio for a couple of hours… They played most of Ride The Lightnin’ and all of D.T.L.A.M.F. and let Lightnin’ perform songs live in the basement.  Also, they got Lightnin’ very, very stoned.  Thanks guys!

    Now we have a shitload of gigs accumulating on the horizon, starting with TurboBowl in Burbank on Friday Jan 20 (all ages!-see post below) and back at the Redwood Bar & Grill on Saturday 1/28 with Fartbarf, Sean & Zander, Izzy Cox and Piss Broke Rebels!
